Here are the few steps you will follow to check your admission status via the University of Abuja portal:

1. Visit the University of Abuja admission portal at portal.uniabuja.edu.ng. 
2. On the login page, enter your JAMB registration number in the first field. 
3. Enter your surname in lowercase letters as your password in the second field. 
4. Click the “Login” button.
5. Once logged in, you will see your dashboard. Click on the “Admission Status” link/button.
6. This will show you the status of your application – whether you have been admitted, admission is still in progress, or you have not been admitted.
7. If you have been admitted, you will need to accept the offer on the JAMB CAPS portal by logging into your JAMB profile. 
8. You can also check your admission status on the JAMB CAPS portal by logging in there and checking under the “Admission Status” section.
9. Be patient if it still shows “Admission in progress”. Check back again after some time as admissions are released in batches.
